AKOO was formed back in 2008 by rapper TI and his partner, Jason Geter, co-founder of Grand Hustle Records and continues to produce quality clothing and accessories to this day. The name is an acronym for A King Of Oneself and can be found worldwide. The brand has gotten together with New Era to create a line of snapback caps for the summer. The hats come in 2 styles and each come in 2 colorways.
“The Diplomat” features the company name embroidered across the crown of the cap in varsity letters . It is available in either red or navy, with opposite stitching on each. The second hat to come from the line,entitled “The Sling”, is available in black or white and features a sling shot graphic embroidered on the crown with “Duck Ya Head” stitched along the back of the cap.
