Today, October 19, 2011, Washington Wizards point guard and 2010 #1 Overall NBA Draft Pick John Wall held an event in New York City showcasing his first signature shoe from Reebok, the John Wall ZigEncore.
The John Wall ZigEncore is a state of the art sneaker featuring a low-profile ZigNano sole, providing responsive performance during a game, as well as a lightweight synthetic upper and a removable sock-liner for optimal comfort. A herringbone rubber outsole has also been added for traction and handling.
The event, which took place at Footlocker on 34th Street in Herald Square, was hosted by none other than DJ and top radio personality in America, Funkmaster Flex. Flex interviewed Wall while the point guard gave first-hand advice to inner-city youth basketball players. Wall also went on to discuss his line of apparel with Reebok entitled “J Wall”, which features a full set of hoodies, track pants, training shorts, and tees.
Autographed pairs were raffled off to the youth and many lucky fans received signatures from the star player himself.
