After the one-sided fight last night in which Timothy Bradley was falsely proclaimed the winner, the new champ landed in the wheelchair. During the fight Bradley corner claimed that he had “broken” his foot. Bradley was seen twisting his ankle really bad in the second round.
“I went back to the corner after the second and I said, ‘Coach, I think I broke my ankle,’ ” Bradley said. He also said that he actually heard his foot snap. In the 5th round, he hurt his right foot. Bradley’s right foot was seen to be swollen after the fight. He immediately went for x-rays but there is no word on his injuries yet. Stay in tuned.
I believe he did hurt his feet but even with good feet he was no match for Manny Pacquiao. It is unfortunate that he won the decision because Bradley is not a dishonest fighter. During the post-fight interview with Max Kellerman he kept suggesting that he will watch the video to see if he actually won or not. I whole-heartedly believe that the decision will be overturned and the fight will be either a no-contest or maybe mark Manny Pacquiao the victor.
