Gentry Humphrey, the man behind the iconic Jordan Brand, was recently in Paris for this year’s Quai 54, an annual streetball tournament. There, he was spotted rocking a special pair of Air Jordan IV’s. Unbeknownst to those that caught a glimpse of his footwear, it turned out that the shoes were a special custom pair just for Mr. Humphrey.

The sneakers were a nice gesture of thank you for his departure from the Jordan Brand as he is now working in a new role for Nike Sportswear. As you may remember from the classic Mars Blackmon ads, Spike used to call MJ, “Money”, thus Gentry’s success with Jordan Brand earned him the nickname “G-Money”. And so, this pair was created as an inclination to the “Mars” Air Jordan IV but with this version sporting a “G$” motif of Gentry, replacing the Spike graphic.

Hopefully, Jordan Brand would make an official release of this colorway. What do you think?
