After Kobe’s antics in Barcelona, Team USA’s Lebron James, offered US swimmer, Lauren Perdue to dinner as the athletes got acquainted with each other before the games began. Unfortunately, Lauren kindly turned down the offer as she states:
“He was basically like, ‘Would you like to come eat with me at the dining hall?’ And I said, ‘Um, I’m sorry, I have a curfew.’”
During the games, athletes tend to follow strict rules enforced by their coaches in order to stay focused on their events. Even the King can be denied once in a while. Although, it seems that Kobe Bryant is still the better closer.
