Jay-Z owns one-fifteenth of a percent of the Brooklyn Nets but is attempting to call the shots and dictate how the Nets will rise in Brooklyn. Though he helped design the team logos to some degree as well as choose the team’s black-and-white color scheme, he definitely has people wondering what he’s doing as he hardly owns them. He’s trying to make big changes such as having the arena contain a 40/40 Club and putting a Rocawear store on the arena’s exterior to sell apparel from his clothing line. What do you think about Jay-Z’s latest antics?
from a business aspect Jay has a lot of money. He attracts alot of people. He can get other big name celebrities to come support the nets and donate as well. without jay's hyping up the nets the team isn't nothing. Just like the knicks with out spike lee well before carmelo came.
