The WSJ has reported what we’ve all been hoping for, true 4G connectivity on the iPhone series and the iPhone 5 will support the ultra-fast LTE network. Unlike with the “New” iPad which is in its 3rd generation, the new iPhone will support global versions of LTE for Asia and Europe in addition to the United States. Sources say that it is “unlikely” all carriers will support the LTE feature but hopefully that is incorrect and more good news has arrived in the form of pricing. The iPhone 4s is set to step down a notch in pricing while the iPhone 5 will take over at the traditional $200 on contract price. There is also an iPhone 4s set to arrive in an 8GB form which will take the place of the to-be-discontinued iPhone 3Gs.
